The juvenile appeared before the Karoi Magistrates Court. Detectives from CID Karoi received a tip-off and swiftly intervened, finding a sachet of dagga in the student’s trouser pocket before the transaction could be completed. The drugs were forfeited to the State for destruction. Charged for unlawful dealing in dangerous drugs, the juvenile was warned, cautioned, and discharged and ordered to undergo guidance and counselling under the supervision of a Child Protection Officer. -NPA
