Let me guess — the first one is the one you sneak text “I miss you” at 1am, and the second is the one who actually missed you with respect by meeting your parents and saying Bismillah. Let’s be real: If they can’t even say Assalamu Alaikum to your family, but they’re busy dropping “good morning baby” in your DMs, you’re not in love — you’re in soft disobedience. May Allah make the one you call “mine” be brave enough to call your parents “Mum” and “Dad”. And if they’re “waiting for something” — InshaAllah it’s not your patience that expires first. Ameen.
