We launched few years ago, a mobile app allowing users to get from a mobile app, a Visa card that they can deposit money into through Mobile money, bank accounts. They can also perform peer to peer transfer and transfer to mobile money wallets. Fast forward to today, we are now trusted by thousands of users since inception and are growing fast.  Our vision is to create affordable banking solutions for the 80% underbanked population in Central Africa, hence contributing highly to financial inclusion within this underserved region and creating a new first of its kind wave of financial services, accessible, affordable and bug free. Job Description: As a Product Manager / Product Owner at PaySika, you will be responsible for translating the company’s strategic vision into concrete product features while ensuring optimal user experience and high-quality deliverables. Key Responsibilities: ✔ Draft and update functional product specifications. ✔ Oversee the proper implementation and execution of the product roadmap. ✔ Implement tracking tools to identify new features or monitor bugs. ✔ Plan and prioritize the product feature backlog and development process. ✔ Organize the release and deployment of new application features. ✔ Supervise product development by creating dashboards, KPIs, and scheduling progress meetings with the team. ✔ Work closely with developers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-performing and intuitive products. ✔ Contribute to financial inclusion and technological innovation in an area (Central Africa) that is currently underserved.   Profile: ✔ Bachelor’s or Engineering degree in Computer Science, IT Systems Management, or equivalent proven experience. ✔ Minimum 2 years of experience as a Product Manager in a FinTech or B2C mobile app environment. ✔ Strong ability to translate product vision into technical roadmaps and communicate requirements effectively. ✔ Proficiency in Agile tools (Jira, Trello or similar) and data analysis (SQL, Google Analytics). ✔ Knowledge of payment APIs, digital wallets, online banking services, and payment networks (Visa, Mastercard). ✔ Prior experience as a backend developer is a strong plus.
