Fact is budget is excellent for all new buyers due to FED removal and 50% less withholding tax on buying a property. Most benifits will go for DHAs files buyers and on ground small size upto 10 marla possession plots in all projects including DHAs. Fact is FBR rates were too high and Govt reduced last year and likely to keep them unchanged Fact is zero increase proposed for capital gain tax Fact is stamp duty is going to be reduced In Islamabad etc that will further reduce cost of buying properties Fact is 50 to 70 billion tax credit each year is propssed along with 12 to 15 years mortgages mechanism that will start a mega boom for house buyers just like cars buying did in PM Shaukat Aziz time. With long term financing on reduced rates monthly installments will become too small and hundreds of thousands will be able to afford buying houses Fact is even non filers were paying high tax and still coming in FBR redar any way since last few years and any one wanted to buy a property was becoming tax filer before buying to get save costs. 95% buyer was filers in all DHAs Now on negative side. Filers may have to show they have enough cash or exchange for new purchase s in their wealth statement. Overseas Pakistan don't file wealth statement so they cant's be asked. Even asked they already buy property with remitted funds and they can easily prove their funds source. They are likely to be exempt when fine print notification is issued after budget approval.
