We're seeking a Junior Research Scientist to join our interdisciplinary team, combining hands-on molecular biology work with bioinformatics pipeline development and execution. Your Key Responsibilities: * Conduct molecular biology experiments: DNA/RNA extraction, NGS library preparation * Operate and maintain bioinformatics pipelines for NGS data analysis * Use tools like FastQC, BWA, Bowtie2, SAMtools, GATK, and bcftools * Assist in developing custom scripts (Python/R/Bash) to improve automation and efficiency * Collaborate on ongoing genomics projects in reproductive genetics, oncology, and microbiome studies * Document experimental workflows, pipeline updates, and project results clearly What We're Looking For: * M.Sc./M.Tech in Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Genetics, or Molecular Biology * Solid foundation in NGS data analysis * Familiarity with command-line tools and scripting (Python, R, or Bash) * Experience in a molecular biology lab environment * Ability to manage time effectively, work independently, and collaborate with cross-functional teams Skills: NGS analysis, Genomics, Python, R, PCR, DNA/RNA extraction, Linux Why Cordon Genomics?
