People are a test too. Allah says: وَجَعَلْنَا بَعْضَكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ فِتْنَةً ۗ أَتَصْبِرُونَ “We have made some of you a trial for others – will you be patient?” (Surah Al-Furqan 25:20) Not every test comes as pain or loss. Sometimes it comes as a difficult person — a spouse, parent, friend, or stranger. Their words or behavior may hurt, but how you respond is your test. Will you be patient? Will you maintain good character? Will you still seek Allah’s reward? الله المستعان استغفر الله Don’t let someone else’s bad manners take away your good ones.
