And it’s the quiet ones that often wear us down the most. When no one sees the tears behind your smile or the weight behind your worship, it’s easy to feel invisible. But here’s the truth I want you to carry into this new week: God sees what no one else sees—and He cares more deeply than you know. In Genesis 16, Hagar was a woman running from pain, rejection, and the cruelty of others. Alone in the wilderness, she met God. And in that meeting, she gave Him a name no one had used before: El Roi—“The God who sees me.” You may not be in a desert, but maybe you’re in a dry season of the soul. Maybe you're showing up for everyone else while quietly wondering if anyone sees the cost you’re paying. Let me say this clearly: El Roi sees you. The long nights. The hidden tears. The faith that keeps showing up when your strength is gone. You are not overlooked in heaven. God is not distant or distracted. He is attentive. Present. Near to the brokenhearted. And when others forget your name or miss your pain, He calls you beloved—and meets you at the well of your weariness with living water. So don’t give up. Don’t stop hoping. The God who saw Hagar sees you too. And He will not leave you where He found you. Let me pray for you: Father, thank You for being El Roi—the God who sees.
