If I could go back and talk to the 17-year-old me… I’d say this: All the bad things happening to you right now… They’ll turn out to be the reason your life gets better. Because bad luck and good luck are still both luck. It’s what you do with them that matters. Growth only comes from pain and discomfort. So to be lucky… You have to be unlucky. That’s how I think most people actually find purpose. You go through something… Something that hurts. And you realise you never want anyone else to go through that. That’s why I’m obsessed with fixing the education system. It failed me when I left school at 15. That’s why I help people for free. Because no one helped me when I was starting out. And that’s why I push so hard to make people believe in themselves. Because nobody believed I could be an entrepreneur and it turns out, I’m a pretty good one. Everything I do now… It’s just me trying to help that younger version of me. And maybe help someone else who needs to hear this too.
