As we set up our first copper processing plant in Tanzania, we are looking for a top-level Legal Counsel to join our leadership team. This is a key position for a driven and globally experienced attorney who thrives in dynamic environments, understands international commercial law, and is ready to take responsibility for Baridi’s full legal framework across borders. ⸻ 🔹 Your Role: – Draft, review, and negotiate all company contracts — both local and international – Manage legal aspects of mining, construction, procurement, and corporate governance – Represent Baridi Group with regulators, authorities, and external partners – Oversee regulatory compliance and licensing across multiple jurisdictions – Coordinate with our European office on all cross-border legal affairs – Travel abroad is required — most of our clients, partners, and contract negotiations are based outside of Tanzania ⸻ 🔹 Your Profile: – Qualified attorney with 5+ years of legal practice – Strong expertise in corporate law, contract law, or mining law – Experience with an international law firm or multinational company is highly preferred – Fluent in English and Kiswahili (French or German is a plus) – Detail-oriented, responsible, and confident in high-stakes negotiations 🌱 At Baridi Group, you’ll help shape the future of a Tanzanian company with global reach.
