Afghan refugees holding Proof of Registration (PoR) or UNHCR-issued refugee cards are advised to carry their identity documents with them at all times for their safety and security. If they are stopped or questioned by law enforcement authorities, they may be asked to present it. Please also keep copies of the card at home in case the original is lost.
