*THE PLACE OF ENQUIRY.* _Trust GOD from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for GOD’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track (Proverbs 3:5-6 MSG)._ Blessed evening my friend. One of the questions people often ask me is how they can identify what they should be doing in the pursuit of their purpose. I always draw my answer from the question Apostle Paul asked after that life-transforming encounter he had with the Lord on the way to Damascus in Acts 9. The Bible tells us that after the bright light shone on Paul and the Lord spoke asking Paul why he was persecuting the Him, Paul, trembling and astonished said, _"Lord, what wilt thou have me to do?" (Acts 9:6 KJV)._ We learn then that making that enquiry about what the Lord would have us do is critical to our effectiveness in the pursuit of God's purpose for our lives. It is true that God will usually guide us into our pursuit of purpose through our gifts, talents, skills, personality and unique life experiences. However, there are many people in the Bible whom the Lord asked to do certain things which those people never thought they could do. Jeremiah thought he was too young to speak as a prophet. Gideon thought he was too small to lead the people of Israel. Moses said he was a stammerer. But God knew all of these people more than they knew themselves and as they said Yes to God's instructions, they became the very best versions of themselves. So, do not start your pursuit of purpose by mentally assessing what you think are your strengths and weaknesses. Start by asking, _"Lord, what will you have me do"_ and as you yield to God's leading, you will become the best that God has planned for you to be. I hope this helps. *Pray by faith with me thus:* "Lord, help me to surrender to your leadership as I devote my life to the pursuit of Your purpose for my life."
