*STARTING FROM YOUR JERUSALEM.* _“Don’t think you have to put on a fund-raising campaign before you start. You don’t need a lot of equipment. You are the equipment, and all you need to keep that going is three meals a day. Travel light” (Matthew 10:9-10 MSG)._ Good evening beloved. When thinking about how to go about the pursuit of God's purpose for our lives, I believe we can glean some wisdom from Christ’s instruction to the disciples about how they were to go about the sharing of their message. The Bible tells us that _the disciples were first to minister in Jerusalem, then all Judea, Samaria and then everywhere in the world. (Acts 1:8 CEV)._ We learn then that, it is okay to begin our pursuit of purpose from our Jerusalem, where we are personally influential and little adjustments are necessary to impact people around us. For example, if you are called to work with teenagers, you can start with a small group of teenagers in your local church. If you are called to teach, you can start with teaching in Sunday School in your church or just sharing a few words on your WhatsApp status or Facebook page. Then, you can progress to other places and platforms where some cultural adjustments, heavier financial and spiritual investments may be necessary for your pursuit of purpose. *Pray by faith with me thus:* "Lord, give me the courage to get started on my pursuit of purpose right from where I am."
