*DEALING WITH OPPOSITION IN YOUR PURSUIT OF PURPOSE II.* _There is a wide-open door for a great work here, although many oppose me (1Cor 16:9 (NLT)._ Good evening. Another principle to bear in mind when it comes to managing opposition in your pursuit of purpose is that God is working, even through your detractors, for the fulfillment of His purpose for your life. This is not something to take lightly at all. The people who oppose your vision would not always need to be taken away. The Psalmist said that God prepares a table before him in the presence of his enemies. Your prayer point should not be for God to take away the people who oppose your vision, it should be for God to work through their opposition for the advancement of your pursuit of purpose. Joseph's story is quite instructive on this point. Each and every of the opposition Joseph faced - from when he was thrown into the pit by his brother to when he was thrown into the prison by Potiphar - brought him closer to the fulfillment of God's purpose for His life. So, as Pastor Poju Oyemade will say, don't let the crisis you are in go to waste, commit your ways to the Lord and let Him do what He alone can do. Pray like the Apostles prayed in Acts 4 when they faced persecution from the religious leaders of their days. Worship God and recognise that everything that is done to you is determined beforehand according to God's will. (Acts 4:28) And if it not God-sent, it will be God-used. *Pray by faith with me thus:* "Lord, help me to see You at work in my life even through the oppositions I face in the pursuit of Your purpose for my life."
