*HAND IN HAND WITH GOD.* _The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him (Psalms 28:7 NIV)._ Blessed evening dear friend. I hope you are well. In a Christmas address to the people of the British Empire in 1939, King George VI spoke of his faith in God’s leading. The king concluded his remarks with the lines written by Minnie Louise Haskins some 30 years earlier: _“And I said to the man at the gate of the year: ‘Give me a light that I may tread safely into the unknown.’ And he replied: ‘Go out into the darkness and put your hand into the hand of God. That shall be to you better than light and safer than a known way!”_ Walking in purpose will sometimes feel like we are walking into the unknown. As we progress in our pursuit of purpose, there are seasons that will require that we are able to draw from the resourcefulness of God by trusting Him and letting Him lead. We won't always have all the information we need and we have to learn to trust and obey God if we are going to be effective in our pursuit of purpose. Trusting God is putting our hands in God's hands and agreeing to follow wherever He leads. As we put our hands in God's hand, we set ourselves up to be led by God into all of His purpose for our lives. When we trust God, we can never miss our way. *Pray by faith with me thus:* "Father, help me to recognize that I am safest when I am led by You and established in the center of your Will for my life."
