So Glad I could talk about this topic, Even though I do suffer from this B4, Yet I would boldly tell anyone who represents Christ should Know Tithe is a covenant made by our Father (Jacob To God). Genesis 28:20-22, Even though the verse does not state or Express any word like "tithe" it states "a tenth of all that you give me.” You and you know what a tenth is called in our denomination which is tithe. If you argue, Here is the content of the verse: Then Jacob made a vow, saying, “If God will be with me and will protect me on this journey and will give me bread to eat and clothing to wear, and if I return safely to my father’s house, then the Lord will be my God, and this stone that I have set up as a pillar will be God’s house. And I will give you a tenth of all that you give me.” Important Note: Jacob's Vow To GOD. Not God that imposes tithe on him. Human is the one who vows to GOD. So if indeed you do say, The God of Abraham is your GOD The God of Isaac is Your GOD The God of Jacob is Your GOD. So why would you state Tithe is not Compulsory for you? Come on wake up, Don't be among those that are confused of what to do... Most Christians who always support this emotion say Tithe is not important. There are so many reasons they say that, Yes for sure and you know what and how Christ Churches are being treated now, Yet don't let their reasons stop you from doing the fundamental part of your life as a Christian. Some of those are financially Struggling when they hear tithe, They always feel it is stressful, Yet Note it's the devil speaking in your heart. 2. Some religions and churches have embedded negative experiences in their members, Through manipulation or control. Anytime they hear anything about tithe, They may feel that churches are more focused on money than on spirituality. 3. Some individuals feel that religious institutions misuse the funds collected through tithes, spending more on luxurious lifestyles for church leaders rather than helping the community or fulfilling charitable missions. 4. Not all Christian denominations or religions emphasize tithing. Those who don’t subscribe to the practice may see it as outdated or unnecessary and may feel uncomfortable when others insist on its importance. 5. People who are unable to tithe or choose not to may feel guilty or ashamed when the topic is brought up, especially if they are part of a community where tithing is strongly encouraged or seen as a measure of faith.
