Chahwanda (33), of Plemonstall Court, remains in custody on remand. He was previously arrested by Merseyside Police detectives on 13 March 2025 and 27 February 2024. In March this year, he was formally charged with eleven serious offences. These included rpe, assault by penetration, cyber flashing, five counts of sexual activity with a female aged 13–15, sexual communication with a child, causing a child to watch an image of sxual activity, and blackmail. As the investigation continued, ten more charges have now been authorised against Chahwanda. These involve multiple victims and include blackmail, two counts of engaging in sexual communication with a child, six counts of malicious communications, and causing a child to view a s*xual act.
