Midlands Province Global Union Alloy Chrome tour The Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution for Midlands Province Honourable Owen Ncube toured Global Union Alloy chrome processing plant in Kwekwe.The chrome processing plant is currently 40% complete, with Phase 1 comprising two furnaces expected to be operational by the end of July 2025. The project currently employs 106 local workers during the construction phase and is projected to create over 500 jobs once fully operational, with an estimated monthly output of 35,000 tonnes of ferrochrome.
