NPR and three Colorado public radio stations filed a lawsuit against the trmp administration over an executive order that cuts off their federal funding. The lawsuit argues this is unconstitutional retaliation, a violation of the 1st Amendment, for coverage 45/47 doesn’t like. NPR’s CEO called it a “textbook” attack on press freedom. This case is about whether the government can defund independent media outlets for doing their job and holding those in power accountable.
