Yesterday afternoon at Chakona stadium, Amakhosi Amahle dominated possession and had the majority of the attacks. However Mega Watt FC's goalkeeper had a standout performance, making crucial saves to secure the win for his team. The match was a closely contested affair, with Mega Watt FC scoring the opening goal and holding on for dear life. The Ninjas came out strong in the second half, with Coach Beke's tactical substitutions bringing fresh energy. One notable moment came in the 58th minute when Spompa's shot was cleverly chipped into the box by Panashe, only for the Mega Watt FC keeper to make a spectacular save. Despite the challenging conditions, which saw smoke from a nearby furnace affecting the pitch, Bulawayo Chiefs showed character and fighting spirit. Bulawayo Chiefs Head Coach Bekithemba Ndlovu reflected on the match, appreciating the team’s efforts. “Painful first time loss, the boys put in good effort, dominated the game but lacked enough scoring chances." He said. The Ninjas will regroup and refocus as they prepare for their next match. “Tough luck on this one, we will try to score goals and win the coming one."
