Ndagamuntu Renew of National IDs has started today 27/05 *Take note of the Major issues* 1. Renewal of National IDs is free of charge 2. You can renew from anywhere. You dont have to go back to where you registered from or where you come from 3. If your ID is expired, kindly come with it 4. If you lost your ID but would like to renew, kindly come with a police letter. You will not pay anything 5. NIRA’s target is to reach out to people in all parishes. Every district has designed its own program to see how everyone will be served 6. For those who made errors on IDs and thus want to change particulars, it will be at a cost but you pay through the bank 7. The main focus is on citizens whose IDs have expired or are about to expire 8. Ugandans especially children who have never registered should use this chance to register for National IDs 9. The Mass Renewal Exercise has kicked off today 27th May 2025 and will go on for at least 6 months. 10.
