No.: ZSP-GHQPR/2024:16 *PRESS RELEASE* _10th June, 2025_ We, the Zou Sangnaupang Pawlpi, General Headquarters, wish to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the esteemed 27 Sector, Brigadier Sir, for his pivotal role in mending the misunderstanding between the 37 AR Khuga Battalion and the Zou Sangnaupang Pawlpi, GHQ, due to the malevolently motivated, unverified and libelous Whatsapp Channel Post against Mr. P Nicky Mangminlian @ P Nick Lian Zou, wherein he was alleged to have been arrested and taken to custody by the AR from his residence at Pangzawl Village on the 8th of June, 2025 in a drug/ narcotic related case. The matter has now been resolved at the Brigadier's Office at 03:30 PM today. We, the ZSP-GHQ, highly commend the dedicated efforts of the 27 Sector, especially the 37 AR Khuga Battalion and other law enforcement agencies, in their relentless efforts with the War on Drugs, and we shall steadfastly support their noble pursuits. Furthermore, we urge the public to abstain from disseminating erroneous information regarding the incident, as we are pursuing legal measures against such social media platforms that publishes unverified and libelous posts to tarnish the reputation of our Vice President (External), and the Zou Sangnaupang Pawipi, General Headquarters in its entirety. Lastly, but certainly not the least, we express our sincere appreciation to all like-minded Civil Society Organizations (CSO's) who stood with us during the above said brief episode and showed their steadfast and unwavering support in our fight against malevolent motives.
