Description: Dundee We are recruiting a CATERING ASSISTANT WITH BASIC COOKING EXPERIENCE to join our backshift team in our Staff Restaurant in DUNDEE TECHNOLOGY PARK You should be of smart appearance, have some cooking experience, be comfortable working as part of a team, and willing to carry out general cleaning duties. Together with another team member, you’ll be preparing up to 25 portions of popular menu choices like pasta bolognaise, lasagne and fajitas, serving the food, then clearing down afterwards. Hours are as follows: WEEK 1 – 2pm – 7pm, Monday to Friday, 5 days, (25 hours) WEEK 2 – 3pm – 7pm Monday to Thursday, 4 days, (16 hours) Your average hours over 2 weeks will be 20.5 RATE OF PAY - £14.50 per hour £297.25 PER WEEK £15,457 PER ANNUM DUTIES include: Production and service of simple hot meals, snacks and salads Setting up and clearing down of hot and chilled counters Serving customers and taking card payments Collection of crockery and cutlery and putting them through the dishwasher.
