I am not sure if this is the right platform to post this. But posting with a very heavy heart. I really want to raise voice against Dr. Rashid Naseem who does his clinic at messieh clinics block 5 Gulshan e iqbal.My mom's sick since a very long time.She is a patient of hypothyroidism, GAD , hyperlipidemia and recently diagnosed with prediabetes.My brother(who is a software engineer at Akuh)took her to this Dr on my recommendation. As I have seen a long que of patient in his clinic.l and heard some positive reviews. But the way he treated my mother and brother today is boiling my blood.My brother came from his office ,got stuck in traffic badly.he was fasting ,he rushed to home to pick mom (who live around 30 minute drive from clinic.And as he has seen all the Drs in akuh seeing soft copies of lab reports he didn't get the hard copies because they were running out of time.The Dr refused to check reports on cellphone.The worst part was when he bashed my mother on her dressing .she was covered in hijab all over He said to her ur hijab the the reason of ur anxiety.The women aof Afghanistan are suffering because of this hijab.And he kept bashing her for her hijab all the time.My mom kept quite as she could see anger on my brothers face ,had she said something my brother would have been out of control .Is this what our medical ethics is about ?Doing hijab or not is a personal choice where on earth is this related to anxiety.I myself am a dr.i m not a renowned specialist like Dr Rashid but I have done hectic duties in E.r.I did my hj from govt hospital.Many a time patientsnand their attendants annoyed me too much but I have never been this rude with anyone unless and untill they tell me to do something that's totally not in favour of my patient,like not understanding the condition of sick child or not letting the staff perform their task in E.r room (happened just few times because many times ppl do understand me on my detailed counseling alhumdulillah)For me a Drs attitude ,his attention and his empathy are as imp as diagnosing and treatment of the patient.Such specialists are literally black sheep's of our community.They belittle their patients not knowing that they earn from them.I feel so sorry for my mom.We were confused between many Drs and they chose him just because of my recommendation.I would not recommend him to anyone.My mom was very disturbed.
