*Sri Lanka:* SriLankan Airlines has received an Airbus A330-200, its first widebody in over seven years as part of efforts to rebuild its fleet. The leased aircraft will help restore long-haul routes, with two more jets expected by the end of 2025. The airline also aims to double its fleet by 2030. Separately, a Colombo–Singapore flight made a safe emergency landing in Medan on June 5 due to a technical issue.
