*🌿 Story*
I was quietly browsing the internet when I came across a movie that had gained a lot of attention in a short time. Curious, I decided to watch.
The story was about a man named Izuuna who had gotten a girl from his village, Ijeoma, pregnant. One day, Ijeoma was brought to him by his uncle. But instead of taking responsibility, Izuuna was angry and embarrassed — he had been enjoying city life and dancing with flashy girls, even in front of his uncle.
Ijeoma was treated badly. She was insulted, told hurtful things about her pregnancy, denied food, and made to do housework despite her condition. Through it all, she kept praying — even praying for Izuuna.
One day, something began to change. Izuuna started to reflect. He looked at the women he had surrounded himself with and asked himself whether they had brought anything meaningful to his life. Then, unexpectedly, he met an old school friend who now had a family. This encounter shook him. He went home and apologized to Ijeoma.
But by then, Ijeoma had made her decision: she would deliver her baby and return to her village. Izuuna begged her to stay, and even his friend — the one who had helped Ijeoma when Izuuna didn’t — joined him to plead for forgiveness.

*🌱 Reflection*
When I finished watching, the story stayed with me.
It reminded me how easily we can mistreat people who might one day be a source of strength or even an answer to our prayers. Sometimes we ignore or hurt those who come into our lives quietly — without realizing their true worth.
Some people, like Izuuna, wake up and try to make things right. But others only realize what they’ve lost when it’s too late.
This story made me reflect on how important it is to treat everyone with dignity, no matter their background or status. And in moments of conflict or anger, we must choose wisdom over ego.
