He emphasised that the movement’s efforts align with the Vision of HE President Dr ED Mnangagwa, who continues to prioritise accessible healthcare for every citizen. Speaking on the strides made by Boys dzaMdara, Mr Chako pointed to the recent medical outreach in Mutorashanga, Mashonaland West Province, as a clear example of how the organisation is bridging gaps in healthcare delivery. The initiative, which provided free medical services to the local community, was met with widespread appreciation, particularly from village heads and residents who face challenges in accessing health facilities. “The work being done by our Provincial Chapters, such as Mashonaland West, reflects the spirit of unity and shared responsibility that defines our Nation,” Mr Chako said. “Just as the waters cover the seas, Boys dzaMdara is reaching every corner of the Great Republic of Zimbabwe, ensuring no one and no community is left behind.” During the Mutorashanga outreach, villagers expressed gratitude for the intervention, with Masango village head Mr David Mupedzamasango highlighting the need for additional support, such as boreholes, which help ensure access for all to clean water, which in turn prevents the spread of waterborne diseases. Ndengeza village head Mr Pedziswa Togarepi also praised the initiative for bringing critical services closer to the elderly and vulnerable. Medical practitioner Ms Michelle Phiri explained the impact of the programme, particularly for optometry patients, noting that free consultations and subsidized cost of spectacles were provided to cater to different financial situations. The Government has commended Boys dzaMdara’s stakeholder-driven approach, with Mashonaland West Provincial Affairs and Devolution deputy director Mr Tichaona Chiwiro reiterating President Mnangagwa’s mantra that “Nyika inovakwa ne vene vayo” (a Nation is best built by its very own people). Mr Andrew Mugabe, Boys dzaMdara’s Mashonaland West Provincial Chairperson, revealed plans to construct a clinic in Windsor to further ease healthcare access for the community. This aligns with the Government’s National Community Health Strategy, which aims to establish health centres within five-kilometre intervals, especially in rural areas. Mr Chako concluded by affirming that Boys dzaMdara remains committed to supporting the President’s legacy of inclusive development, ensuring that healthcare empowerment continues to spread across the Great Republic of Zimbabwe.
