VALID FOR THE MORNING OF 14TH MAY 2025 THROUGH THE MORNING OF 15TH MAY 2025 SYNOPSIS: Occasional cloudiness accompanied with the chance of a few showers are likely through today as residual moisture lingers across the northwest Caribbean. Light winds and slight seas are expected across the Cayman area over the next few days due to a weak pressure gradient. Radar imagery shows scattered showers north of the Sister Islands with no general movement. FORECAST: Today: Partly cloudy skies becoming cloudy at times with a 30% chance of showers and possible thunder. Temperatures will rise near the low 90’s °F, with a heat index near 102 °F. Winds will be east to northeast at 5 knots or less, becoming light and variable at times. Seas will be slight with wave heights of 1 to 3 feet. Tonight: Partly clear skies with a 30% chance of showers. Temperatures will fall to the upper 70’s °F. Winds will be east to northeast at 5 knots or less, becoming light and variable at times.
