SYNOPSIS:
Residual moisture will continue to support some isolated showers which are expected to linger through Wednesday morning. Thereafter, a gradual decrease in chance for showers is expected as a plume of Saharan dust enters the western Caribbean. Radar imagery shows a line of across the Cayman area moving towards the west.
FORECAST:
Tonight: Partly cloudy skies with a 30% chance of showers and isolated thunder. Temperatures will fall to the low 80’s °F. Winds will be east to southeast at 5 to 10 knots. Seas will be slight to moderate with wave heights of 2 to 4 feet.
Tomorrow: Partly cloudy skies with a 30% chance of showers and possible thunder in the morning with light dust haze. Temperatures will rise to the low 90’s °F, with a heat index near 100 °F. Winds will be east to southeast at 10 to 15 knots. Seas will be moderate with wave heights of 3 to 5 feet.
