*Bunu Leaders Launch Community Task Force to Combat Insecurity* In response to escalating security concerns in Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State, Bunu land leaders have established a community security task force. This initiative, decided during an emergency stakeholders' meeting led by the Olubunu of Bunu land, aims to enhance grassroots intelligence and collaborate with conventional security agencies for rapid response and effective conflict prevention. The task force will monitor herders' activities and restrict the entry of unknown individuals without security clearance. Stakeholders emphasized that anyone aiding bandits or acting as informants will face legal consequences.
