π“πˆπ“π‹π„::*𝐀𝐧𝐲𝐭𝐑𝐒𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀π₯π₯𝐚𝐑 * Khabab (Radiyallahu Anhu) was one of the early and blessed companions who endured great hardship for the sake of Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala). He was among the sixth or seventh people to accept Islam, and as a result, he faced intense persecution. He was forced to wear iron armor and lie under the scorching sun, causing him to sweat excessively. At times, he was made to lie on burning sand, which burned his flesh. He was enslaved by a woman who, upon learning that he was meeting with the Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam), would punish him by branding his head with a heated iron rod. During the caliphate of Umar (Radiyallahu Anhu), Khabab once showed him the scars on his back. Upon seeing them, Umar said, β€œI have never seen a back like this before.” Khabab replied, β€œMy body was dragged over heaps of burning coal. The blood and fat from my back were what extinguished the flames.” Despite the later victories of Islam and the Muslim conquests, Khabab would often weep and say: "Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) may be giving us all our reward in this world for the suffering we endured, and perhaps nothing will be left for us in the Hereafter." These were the true followers of the Prophet (peace be upon him)β€”men and women who gave everything for their faith, expecting nothing in return but the pleasure of Allah. Contrast that with many of us today, who so easily trade our iman for temporary, worldly gains. π‹π„π’π’πŽπ:Khabab (RA) endured extreme torture for the sake of his faith, yet remained firm and patient. His story reminds us that true faith often comes with sacrifice. While he gave everything for Allah, many of us today are quick to compromise our beliefs for worldly comfort. Let us reflect on our priorities and strive to stay steadfast in our iman, no matter the test. #𝐝𝐨 π«πžπ¦πžπ¦π›πžπ« 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐑𝐚𝐫𝐞 πŸ€§πŸ€ŒπŸ™
