Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms.(James 5:13). David faced a lot of difficult situations. But do you know what he did? He turned to the Lord in prayer. And every time he sought the face of God in prayer, he had the victory. No wonder he was such a successful king! As God’s child, you’ve got to learn how to trust God in, and with everything in prayer. The Bible says, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God” (Philippians 4:6). This is how to look to the Lord for the change you want.
