_*#drc #tin*_ A decline in the industrial share has been observed, dropping from 74% in 2022 to 63% in 2024, in favor of an increase in the artisanal share, which rose from 26% to 37%. This trend suggests a growing influence of the artisanal sector within the export value chain. Regarding the geographical distribution of artisanal exports by province, Haut-Katanga dominates significantly, accounting for nearly half of all artisanal exports, followed by Maniema (23%) and South Kivu (18%). The provinces of Tanganyika and North Kivu report more modest shares. This dual perspective highlights a gradual reconfiguration of export routes, characterized by the rising role of the artisanal sector and significant geographic concentration. These developments raise critical issues around traceability, local governance, and the formalization of the informal sector. _*https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7336430050973470720*_
