Ram Prasad Bismil was one of the prominent revolutionaries of the Indian freedom struggle. He was born on 11 June 1897 in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Deeply influenced by the Arya Samaj, he showed strong patriotic feelings from a young age and wrote several patriotic poems under the pen name "Bismil."
He was one of the founding members of the Hindustan Republican Association (HRA), which aimed to overthrow British rule through armed revolution. In 1925, he led the Kakori train robbery, a plan to loot government funds from the British. He was arrested and later executed by hanging on 19 December 1927 in Gorakhpur Jail.
Ram Prasad Bismil remains a symbol of bravery and sacrifice. His writings and ideas continue to inspire the youth of India.
