Role: Senior Front End Engineer (React.js & Typescript) Type: Fully Remote, Full-time Budget: $2k- $3k/month Website: https://www.tonicsecurity.com/ About the Role Tonic Security is looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer with strong expertise in React and TypeScript to help build the core user interface of its Universal Vulnerability Management (UVM) platform. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic startup environment, can work independently, and has a sharp eye for building intuitive, responsive, and data-driven user experiences. As a front-end engineer, you will translate Figma designs into high-quality, production-ready React components, working closely with product and backend teams to bring clarity and usability to complex security data. While the primary focus is front-end development, familiarity with backend integration (NextJS) and the ability to occasionally contribute to backend tasks are highly valued. About You • 7+ years of professional experience in frontend development. • Expert-level proficiency in React and TypeScript, including practical experience with React component architecture, hooks, and advanced patterns. • Experience with MobX for state management, or similar libraries such as Redux or Zustand. • Proven ability to build complex, data-intensive user interfaces, including large tables, dynamic filters, grids, pagination, and performance-optimized components. • Skilled in translating Figma designs into clean, pixel-perfect, responsive UIs using Material UI (MUI) or similar React UI libraries. • Comfort with Next.js for routing and server-side rendering within a React-based codebase. • Knowledge of Docker and Docker Compose for local development workflows. • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, particularly GitHub Actions. • Strong command of web development fundamentals including HTML5, CSS3, browser rendering behavior, and performance optimization techniques. Nice to have • Knowledge of performance optimization techniques. • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes. What the Role Involves • Develop and maintain high-quality, responsive web applications using React.js TypeScript, etc. • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement pixel-perfect, user-friendly interfaces. • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices. • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability • Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and services • Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.
