*ROMANS🇷🇴 USED URINE AS MOUTHWASH🤮, TEETH🦷 WHITENER...*
As nasty🤢 as it sounds, ancient Romans🇷🇴 used urine for teeth🦷 whitener, mouthwash🤮 and even laundry🥻.
* People👥 would collect their urine and let it sit for days🔢, which has higher📈 ammonia levels.
* Then rinsed their mouths👄 with the old, stinky🤧 pee. Chemically🧪 speaking; it worked👍💯.
Urine was so useful that the Emperor🤴🏼 at that time placed a tax💰 on public urinals — Laundromats and tenneries were buying🫰 urine from public urinals for cleaning🫧 purpose.
When people👥 complained about this tax💰, the Emperor🤴🏼 held a coin to his nose and said, _"Money🪙 does not stink🤧" (pecunia non olet)_. Even if it comes from pee?🤷🏽♂️
