“Interaction with first foundation course batch of Indian Railways Management Service 2022 : 12 June 2025” 16 probationary officers of Indian Railways Management Service 2022, led by Mr Sanjay Tripathi, IRITM, ADG, interacted with Lt Gen Anindya Sengupta, GOC-in-C, #surya Command, at #lucknow, on 22 Jul 25. The probationary officers were given insight into the operational and logistic dynamics in Command AOR alongwith deliberations to enhance synergy between the two largest organisations of the country. The interaction focused on the aspects of coordination between the railways as a critical enabler of rapid mass transportation of troops to forward areas and necessity of creation of dual use infrastructure and assets for optimum exploitation jointly. The Army Cdr urged the young probationers to understand the concept of Whole of Nation approach for #viksitbharat during peace time. He also highlighted the critical role of Indian Railways in rapid mobilisation during war like situations such as #opsindoor.
