Innovation ‘STRIKE’ : NSG Counter Terror Seminar 2025 23rd NSG International Counter Terror Seminar was held at Manekshaw Centre, #delhi from 10–11 Jun 25, on theme "Forging Collaboration & Innovation to Counter Terror Threats." A counter IED innovation named STRIKE (Surveillance, Targeting, Reconnaissance, Interception, Kinetic Explosion), developed by Lt Col Mohammad Iliyas Khan, a #suryasapper of #shatrujeetbrigade, was conferred with the ‘Innovator’ award during the seminar. STRIKE envisions a drone-based wireless detonation platform, equipped with AI-enabled pattern recognition of suspicious objects. The equipment is capable of remote detection and disposal of IEDs, with minimal exposure & negligible human risk. #suryacommand compliments Lt Col Mohammad Iliyas Khan for his technical acumen in developing the product that would be extremely useful in CI/CT operations.
