https://thecompanion.in/the-son-of-the-father In this garden of lessons, it becomes abundantly clear that being Muslim is of immense importance. It demands a struggle of self-purification and sincerity in supplication. Do we even pause to reflect on what it means to be called by that name, both for ourselves and our community? What responsibilities accompany it? Is it merely a communal label, or is there something deeper, a sacred duty given by Allah? Ultimately, these very lessons that we glean from Hazrat Ismail (peace be upon him) lead us to turn our faces toward his father, the true “Father of Prophets,” Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him). If one sets pen to paper to describe his praise, thoughts would flee, hearts would quake, and mouths would murmur words of awe. For Abraham’s son Ismail, who stands as the living symbol of human values and the encapsulation of divine truths, was nurtured by a mother like Hajar, the incomparable queen of all pure women, and he was guided by a direct gift from none other than the Creator of the universe. He was the son of the highest father, the son of the Prophet of Prophets. How deeply are we connected to him? How satisfied are we with that relationship? We have not yet reached fulfillment. The closer our bond with him becomes, the greater our own character, worship, and understanding will flourish. In shāʾ Allāh. *_TC Correspondents_*
