A 15-year legal battle finally came to an end for Yaw Asante Agyekum, who was acquitted and discharged by the Court of Appeal on June 5, 2025. He had been sentenced to 35 years in 2010 for alleged involvement in a robbery gang led by notorious armed robber Ataa Ayi.
