🇺🇸 Raytheon & Northrop Grumman Test New Rocket Motors for NGSRI Raytheon, an RTX business, and Northrop Grumman have successfully completed four flight tests of Highly Loaded Grain (HLG) solid rocket motors for the U.S. Army’s Next-Generation Short-Range Interceptor (NGSRI). HLG technology delivers longer burn time and greater energy output than traditional rocket motors, significantly extending the interceptor’s range. The NGSRI missile is designed to offer faster flight and superior performance against aerial threats, and can be launched from a tripod, vehicle, or shoulder system.
