Dear Quizzers, I am pleased to inform you that all arrangements have been made to host the World Quizzing Championship 2025 edition in Colombo on Saturday 7 June 2025. Sri Lanka venue will be The Royal College Union Skills Centre, Rajakeeya Mawatha, Colombo 7. Starting time will be 3 p.m. (Registration will commence at 2.30 p.m.). Participation fee will be Rs.3000 per contestant. Payment could be made via a bank transfer/direct deposit to the IQA Lanka account and confirmed to me or Varuna, in copy, by email. IQA Account details are as follows: Peoples Bank – Park Street Branch Account No 025 1001 3000 1889 Account Name " IQA Lanka" If you are a repeat contestant (viz. if you had taken part in WQC before), you may pay by cash on arrival at the venue, but please confirm your participation in advance to print Q &A plus order refreshments. The event is open to everyone. By taking part in World Quizzing Championships, you can earn your World as well as Sri Lanka Rankings.
