Alert 🚨 *Japan* doesn't allow any online-generated IDP (International Driving Permit) to be used to rent a car or even drive Mario Kart in Tokyo. Indians must mandatorily take an IDP issued by the Government of India and carry the original IDP and Indian driving license. Other countries where the above rule applies are China, South Korea and North Korea (in case you do visit and they let you drive 😉)
