*❓ About Shaykh Dr. Maḥmūd ad-Dosarī (may Allah preserve and bless him):* 📝 Shaykh Dr. Maḥmūd ad-Dosarī is a PhD holder from Imam Saud University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He is a former student of Imām Ibn ʿUthaymīn and Imām Ibn Bāz and various others. He currently serves as the Imam and Khateeb of Masjid al-Isrā’ in Dammam. He is also a member of the Daʿwah Committee in Dammam. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in the Fundamentals of Religion (Uṣūl ad-Dīn) from Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University in 1417 AH (~1996/1997), graduating with a grade of Very Good. He completed his Master’s degree in Islamic Studies at Al-Wataniya University in Yemen in 2005, with a thesis titled “The Greatness of the Noble Qur’an”, graduating with Excellent with Honours. In 2006, he earned his PhD in Islamic Studies with a thesis entitled “Abandonment of the Noble Qur’an: Its Types and Rulings”, achieving a grade of Excellent. In 2009, he was awarded the Professorship in Islamic Studies, based on peer-reviewed research titled “The Just Distinction Between Men and Women in Islam”, with a grade of Excellent. Shaykh Maḥmūd previously served as Imam and Khateeb at the Border Guard Mosque from 01/12/1415 AH (1995), and has been the Imam and Khateeb at Masjid al-Isrā’ since 12/05/1423 AH (2002). He works as a preacher at the Ministry of Islamic Affairs – Daʿwah and Guidance Centre in Dammam, having been appointed on 01/03/1418 AH (1997), following 12 years of service at the Ministry of Post, Telegraph, and Telephone from 28/01/1406 AH (1985) to 27/01/1418 AH (1997).
