❓ *Do you know what Yawm al-Qarr is?* ❓
Today is Yawm al-Qarr. It is the first of three days during which supplications are not rejected!
*Yawm al-Qarr marks the beginning of three days in which duʿāʾ is accepted and not turned away.* 💥
Whoever missed the Day of ʿArafah, let him not miss the virtue of Yawm al-Qarr and the days that follow — for the bounty of Allah is continuous, His generosity is all-encompassing, and the seasons of goodness come one after another.
Today is Yawm al-Qarr, and it is among the greatest days in the sight of Allah. *Duʿāʾ made on this day, and on the two days that follow, is not rejected!*
It has been authentically reported from the Prophet (ﷺ) that he said:
“The greatest of days with Allah is the Day of Sacrifice (Yawm al-Naḥr), followed by the Day of Rest (Yawm al-Qarr).”
🔗 Reported by Aḥmad, Abū Dāwūd, and al-Ḥākim; authenticated by al-Albānī in Ṣaḥīḥ Abī Dāwūd (Vol. 6, p. 14, ḥadīth no. 1549).
🎤 Abū Mūsā al-Ashʿarī (may Allah be pleased with him) used to say in his sermon on the Day of Sacrifice:
“After the Day of Sacrifice come three days, which Allah referred to as the appointed days (al-ayyām al-maʿdūdāt) — during which duʿāʾ is not rejected. So raise your hopes and requests to Allah, the Mighty and Majestic.”
