*Sri Sathya Sai Global Mahila Conference | Day 1 - Evening | June 6, 2025*
As part of the ongoing 3-day Sri Sathya Sai Global Mahila Conference, the evening session unfolded as a soul-stirring tribute to the vision, strength, and spiritual resolve of women who walk the path shown by Bhagawan.
The session fittingly began with a heartfelt remembrance of Mother Eswaramma, the divine inspiration and the first torchbearer of the Mahila Vibhag. Her three sacred wishes—education, healthcare, and access to clean water for all—became the pillars of Swami’s massive humanitarian mission. The gathering reverentially acknowledged how her compassion laid the foundation for the global Sai service initiatives, and how her faith was rewarded in the form of a movement that today spans continents and cultures.
The first speaker of the evening, Ms Aparna Tiwari, delivered a stirring address in Hindi, reflecting her joy in selflessly serving rural communities. She shared how village service became a mirror through which she experienced Swami in the eyes of the needy. Her powerful words reminded every listener that being daughters of Sai means facing life’s storms with unwavering courage and an ever-smiling heart. Her message was clear and uplifting: "Karishye Vachanam Tava" — we shall carry forward Thy word, as torchbearers of a new world rooted in service and love.
The session reached another spiritual high with a moving testimony from Ms Satwant Atwal Trivedi, a senior IPS officer, ADG Home Guards, Himachal Pradesh Police. She shared her miraculous journey into Swami’s fold—how she, as a top ranker in the UPSC exams, was reassured by Swami Himself that He would take care of her during the exams. Her transformation was further triggered by divine dreams during her fifth month of pregnancy, and Swami’s precise foretelling of her son’s birth. Her deeply personal narration of surviving a major accident while serving in the BSF was especially touching. With unshakeable faith in Swami, she refused the doctors’ advice to implant a rod in her leg—and today, she runs 5 kilometres with ease, a living testimony of the healing power of divine grace.
The evening continued with a felicitation ceremony that honoured 12 senior women devotees whose decades of tireless seva stood as beacons of humility and sacrifice. Their lives serve as guiding lights for generations to come, silently proving that when women walk with Swami, every step becomes sacred.
The evening culminated in a sublime instrumental presentation by women from Karnataka. The offering, ‘Sayeeshwaraya Namaha’, uplifted the spiritual vibrations of the hall, resonating with gratitude, devotion, and divine love.
With every word spoken and every note played, the proceedings reaffirmed the truth that when women are empowered with values, guided by divinity, and united in service, the world becomes a more compassionate and noble place.
