Township of over 1,000 Jeribs in Nangarhar registered as state land
The Ministry of Justice has declared that the Central Zone Special Court handling Emirati Land Cases has affirmed Emirati ownership of 1,232 jeribs and 1200 meter sequare of land situated in the "Haji Qadir" township within the Surkhrod district of Nangarhar.
As per the announcement, this land is specifically located in the Fatehabad and Khairabad regions of the Surkhrod district in Nangarhar, with the case having been referred to the Central Zone Special Court for Usurped Emirati Lands some time back.
The Ministry of Justice has emphasized the prevention of Emirati land usurpation and the restitution of unlawfully seized land as core objectives of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. In line with this, the Commission for the Prevention of Usurpation and the Return of Usurped Lands has been established.
It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Justice has previously overseen the return of numerous acres of unlawfully taken Emirati land across various provinces.
