Security Forces Rescue Abductee in Takhar The Ministry of Interior has reported that the security forces at the Kunduz provincial police headquarters, working closely with intelligence units, successfully rescued an individual from abductors in Darqad district of Takhar province through a series of operations. As per the Ministry of Interior, the victim had been kidnapped by the perpetrators from Dasht-e-Archi district in Kunduz province a few days earlier. The kidnappers had demanded $50,000 from the victim's family for his release. In addition to the rescue mission, security forces have apprehended three individuals linked to the abduction. Following preliminary investigations, these suspects will be handed over to the appropriate legal authorities for further action. These developments coincide with ongoing efforts by security forces to combat kidnapping activities. Several criminal groups involved in abduction cases have been apprehended and brought to justice as part of these concerted efforts.
