Afghan Pilgrims Begin Return Journey After Completing Hajj Rituals
The Ministry of Hajj Guidance and Religious Affairs has announced that Afghan pilgrims have commenced their return to the country today, Wednesday, following the conclusion of the Hajj ceremonies.
The ministry stated that the initial flight of Afghan pilgrims departed from Jeddah International Airport in Saudi Arabia bound for Kabul.
As per reports, after completing the farewell Tawaf, Afghan pilgrims will be transported from Mecca to Jeddah, from where they will return to Afghanistan in an orderly fashion according to the established schedule.
It is notable that this year saw 30,000 Afghan pilgrims traveling to Saudi Arabia to participate in the Hajj.
