President Mirziyoyev stated, “We are dedicated to fostering constructive discussions with the Islamic Emirate authorities to prevent Afghanistan from facing international isolation, a critical need at this juncture.” Highlighting Afghanistan’s pivotal role in regional stability, he emphasized that the nation’s peace and economic advancement are crucial for the progress of the entire area. These statements coincide with former US Special Representative for Afghanistan Zalmay Khalilzad's previous assertion that Uzbekistan aims to reinforce economic and trade ties with Afghanistan.
