IEA delegation participate in International Conference of Ministers of Education The Ministry of Education has confirmed the participation of an Afghan Ministry of Education delegation at the International Conference of Education Ministers in Kazan, Russia. The conference commenced yesterday with a video address by Russian President Vladimir Putin. Qari Mansour Ahmad Hamza, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Education, stated that the Afghan delegation engaged in discussions with the Deputy Minister of Education of Iran during the conference, focusing on enhancing bilateral cooperation in the education sector. Mr. Hamza shared on his Facebook page that the Afghan delegation also held discussions with the Russian Minister of Education. The Russian Minister highlighted a favorable shift in Russia's stance towards the Islamic Emirate, which could lead to collaborative opportunities with the Afghan education system. The conference, hosting education ministers and deputies from 30 countries, is ongoing and will continue today, Thursday.
